ASPECT
ASPECT is an association of community-based trainers that represents and promotes the interests and activities of members to strengthen their capacity to provide services to people with barriers to employment. Training Innovations has been an active member with Aspect for over 8 years. Training Innovations works in partnership with Aspect to deliver IMMPowerBC – a program that is designed for skilled immigrants and internationally trained professionals.
Career Management Association of BC
The Career Management Association of BC exists to identify and move forward the interests and needs of organizations, associations and practitioners impacted by career development, career management and career information within the Province of British Columbia. Training Innovations is an active member attending and presenting at the annual Career Development Conference and partners with the CMA to raise awareness of sector councils through the National Integrated Delivery Strategy.
ENET
Employment Network Education and Training for Rehabilitation and Career Practitioners Society.
ENET provides a central networking, education and training service for professionals in employment, and career counselling to develop their knowledge and skills, and enhance effectiveness for serving their clients. Training Innovations staff actively attend monthly workshops and Tannis Goddard has presented an ENET training session.
National Career Development Association
The National Career Development Association (NCDA) is a division of the American Counseling Association (ACA). The mission of NCDA is to promote the career development of all people over the life span. To achieve this mission, NCDA provides service to the public and professionals involved with or interested in career development. Training Innovations is a new member to this association and looks forward to presenting at their National Conference.
International Society for Mental Health Online
The International Society for Mental Health Online (ISMHO) was formed in 1997 to promote the understanding, use and development of online communication, information and technology for the international mental health community. Training Innovations is a new member with this society and looks forward to playing an active role in this growing conversation.
Burnaby Board of Trade
The Burnaby Board of Trade support success in the Burnaby business community. It is venue for members to connect with and support each other, mainly in the form of networking and informational events. Training Innovations is an active member and participates on the Labour Force Task team. In 2005, Training Innovations was a finalist in the Business Excellence Awards in the Innovation category.
Squamish Chamber of Commerce
The Squamish Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the community by actively supporting business, economic growth and diversification. Training Innovations is an active Chamber member and regularly attends business meetings and contributes to the collective conversation about Squamish’s labour market needs and economic opportunities.
North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce
The North Vancouver Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in the community by actively supporting business, economic growth and diversification. Training Innovations has been a member since 2008 and regularly attends business meetings.
