Skills Connect for Immigrants Program Continues To Serve Newcomers

The Ministry of Advanced Education and Labour Market Development has recently awarded new Skills Connect for Immigrants Program contracts across B.C. The goal of Skills Connect is to assist skilled immigrants secure jobs that fully utilize their international qualifications and work experience. 

Training Innovations is pleased to announce that it is one of the successful contractors chosen by the Ministry.

For the past three years, Training Innovations has delivered Skills Connect services through the ASPECT IMMPowerBC program. With this new agreement, Training Innovations will improve and expand its services to assist skilled immigrants living in Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Richmond, North Vancouver, Squamish and Whistler.

Through a formal partnership with Vancouver Community College, the new services will feature improved access to language training as well as links to local employers.
