FAQ

Do you charge a fee for your services?

The services offered through the Employment Resource Centre are sponsored by the Province of B.C. and are offered at no cost to you.

Do I have to be on Employment Insurance (EI) to access services?

No, our services are for anyone who is unemployed or working less than 20 hours per week. However, if you are on EI or have established a previous EI claim, you may be able to access additional benefits such as skills development employment benefits (sponsored training). To find out what programs and services best meet your needs we encourage you to meet with one of our Career Strategists.
