Tannis Goddard was invited to present at this national conference taking place in Seattle from July 6-8, 2007. Tannis is delivering a full day session in the Professional Development Institute (PDI) called “e-Volving Practice: Designing & Integrating Collaborative Online Career Development Services”. Tannis is also delivering a workshop called “Facilitated Online Career Development Services: Myths, Realities & Emerging Trends”.

The 2007 BC Career Development Awards of Excellence were awarded to two BC individuals in honour of inspirational leadership and excellence in assisting others develop and move forward in their careers. The Individual Category (shared) was awarded to Tannis Goddard, Founder and President of Training Innovations and Gregg Taylor, President of Transitions Career and Business Consultants Inc. Tannis was recognized for her passionate and dynamic role of educator and entrepreneur and her dedication to leading with integrity and vision. Congratulations Tannis!

Their presentation, “e-Volving Practice: Designing and Delivering Engaging Online Career Development Solutions” will explore how career management and human resources professionals can maintain high touch values using high tech delivery.

Tannis Goddard was invited to present at the AACC National Conference in Perth from April 11-13, 2007. Tannis’ presentation, “How e-Reflection can lead to Transformation” focuses on facilitated online learning methodologies and how they can be used to deliver engaging client-centred career counselling services that achieve action focused results.

Tina Strehlke and Maria Starosta were invited to speak at the 10th Annual Career Development Conference in Vancouver from March 14-15, 2007. Their workshop, “Career Counselling Online: Mapping the Client Experience” explores how facilitated online career counselling can be used to support individual career success.
